 Right now I am sure that if you are reading this you are wondering exactly what I am going to say about my topic, By Faith. But I know that you will come to a
greater understanding once you have read what I have to say about Faith. Why do I keep
capitalizing the word "Faith"? Because it is something very important and you must have Faith to live.
Faith to live is defined by many things. Some feel it is a Faith in something that they can trust. This is what I believe. But my Faith is not in someone that you can see. It is not in my husband John, for surely he will fail me. It is not in my children, for they also will fail me. It is not in the President, for I know that he will fail me also. It is not in anything of this world, but of a realm that is not of this world. You cannot see what I put my Faith in. You cannot touch what I put my Faith in. But you can have it just like I do.
I have a Faith and Trust in an everlasting Kingdom. One that will not rust and moths cannot
destroy. This Kingdom will never be overtaken. No enemy is powerful enough to destroy it. It will stand for eternity. I have put my Faith in something greater than this eroding world. I have placed myself in a Kingdom that has excepted me for who I am.
I might be in a wheel chair, have birth defects upon my face, or have suffered terribly in a car accident. I am unknown to you. But my Faith can be known to you. It can be made known to anyone who wants it. It is for all to receive. For we all can walk by Faith. We all can live by Faith. But we must ask for it.
There is only one place that you can receive the Faith like I have, that is from the Heavenly Father. You might scoff at this, or even turn and run. But when you run, you are not choosing life. Here me out on this.
When you have the kind of Faith that I have, things happen in your life that you never would have thought humanly possible to have happen. Mountains can be moved into the sea, people made whole, families brought back together. And the neatest thing of all is that you really don't need a lot of Faith to have this happen. Jesus says that if you have Faith the size of a mustard seed, you can do many things. All you have to do is believe and trust that he will do this.
To find this Faith, all that you have to do is really simple. You pray and ask Jesus into your heart. When you do this, you are stepping out in Faith and believing that He will accept you as one of His own. To do this is not easy, because it might mean a sacrifice from you in your life, but the rewards are so much greater than any reward that you may find in this life.
To accept the Lord as your personal
Savior, all you have to do is say this simple prayer~
Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I know that you have sent your son Jesus to take my place for the punishment of my sins. I freely accept your gift of forgiveness and also accept Jesus as the Lord of my life.
Please send your Holy Spirit to guide me, counsel me, and help me in those areas of my life that I know I need your help in. Thank you for your love. And thank you for the privilege of now being considered part of your family. Amen.
